How do I get started?

To get started download an official PushNotifier client. You can find an overview of all official and featured apps in the Apps Section. Then log in to an official client. The app immediately registers your device and you're ready to go.

What types of messages are currently supported?

PushNotifier supports Text- and URL-Messages with more types coming soon.

Why are some messages not listed under "Notifications"?

Messages sent by Applications using our API or silent notifications are not visible. You can only see them on the device that received them.

The message is not delivered instantly. What is wrong?

Sometimes but not always push messages take a little longer to deliver. That is due to the fact that PushNotifier uses Google Cloud Messaging and Apple Push. Just wait, the message will arrive.

I want to switch my device. Is there anything special I need to do?

No. Just delete your old device and log in using the new one.

How many device can I activate?

You can have up to 5 devices activated simultaneously.

How many messages can I send?

You can send unlimited messages per day.

How does E-Mail work?

Email addresses work just like regular devices - only that notifications to them are sent via Email. This helps if you currently don't have a smartphone or just don't want to receive push notifications directly.

I have problems receiving E-Mails. What can I do?

First, check your spam folder. If you cannot find any mail from us it may be due to your mail provider. Known providers that do not always work are Outlook.com and GMX.de. If you think you just found a bug, tell us in the Bugtracker.
